SCULPTED LIKE A CLOUD,
BUILT FOR REAL SKIN
The soft, cloud-like curves aren’t just aesthetic—they’re engineered for comfort and control. Unlike the other gua sha tools, Butter Cloud is uniquely contoured to fit the natural shape of your face and the curve of your hand. It’s not too sharp. Not too flimsy. It’s just the right amount of pressure, without the tension. This ergonomic shape allows for seamless transitions across your facial contours, helping to promote lymphatic drainage, reduce puffiness, and enhance circulation. Cloud-shaped designs provide better grip, more control, and a more adaptive fit to the angles of the face, making it easier to apply consistent pressure across different areas. Each dip and rise has purpose:
☒ Jawline? Sculpted.
☒ Cheekbones? Lifted.
☒ Eyes and brow? De-puffed.
☒ Neck and shoulders? Smoothed and softened.
The Material:
Rare Mihuang Jade (a.k.a. “Honey Yellow” Jade)
We chose something rare for something that should feel special. Butter Cloud is carved from Mihuang Jade, also known as “pine-scented yellow” or “butter jade.” It’s known not just for its luminous golden hue, but for the warmth and clarity it’s believed to bring—a stone often associated with optimism, calm, and clarity.
Unlike more porous or brittle materials, Mihuang Jade is durable, smooth, naturally cool to the touch, and safe for daily use on sensitive skin. It warms with your body, making it the perfect stone for facial massage.
The Purpose:
Made to Pair with Unplain Oil
We designed it to be the perfect partner to Unplain Oil, our fermented, microbiome-friendly face oil. The tool helps glide the oil deeper into the skin, while the oil cushions each stroke—enhancing slip, hydration, and nutrient absorption. Together, they:
☒ Improve circulation
☒ Reduce tension
☒ Support the skin barrier
☒ Lock in hydration
☒ Boost glow—naturally
The Feel:
A Ritual That Actually Sticks
Butter Cloud is something you’ll want to reach for after a long day, before a night out, while watching your comfort show, or simply when you need a quiet moment to come back to yourself. This isn’t about chasing perfection. It’s about creating space. Just you, your breath, a few strokes, and a little golden cloud.
There are lot of gua sha tools out there. We wanted something that felt more... Unplain. Because when something is made with intention, it becomes more than a tool—it becomes a habit worth keeping.
